The Facilities
Castle Connections will offer a range of services for all ages and abilities.
You won't need an appointment to get in as we have an "open door" policy that means you will always be welcomed at Castle Connections. The following are some of the services and activities the centre will provide:
- A Community Cafe: with an outside seating area. A range of courses around cookery and healthy eating will also be available.
- A Sound Studio: with DJ equipment and sound engineering courses, band practice and recording facilities.
- An Art Room: with pottery wheels and a kiln.
- A Dance / Drama Room: Offering classes from ballet to street dance. Space for small theatre / concerts and play productions.
- A Function Room: That will have quality decor to make every local birthday, wedding or wake that little bit more special.
- Indoor Market: Every saturday morning. There will be a rolling programme of indoor farmers / art and craft, flowers and plants, pc and music markets that cater for all ages and interests.
- Other more general activities for the older and the younger in the community are being developed.

How can you get involved?
The old school is owned by Queenborough Town Council, leased to Queenborough Town Community Centre Ltd. The most important thing about this centre is that it will be run by and used by Local People.
